Position Purpose: The Manufacturing Technician Manager role will focus on driving operational excellence ensuring highquality build standards and scaling technician capabilities to meet our rapid production growth.

Pay Range: $75000 $150000 (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Responsibilities:
Lead coach and manage a team of skilled manufacturing technicians involved in the assembly and integration of spacecraft hardware and avionics.
Oversee daytoday floor operations across multiple product lines ensuring adherence to build schedules safety standards and quality processes.
Collaborate crossfunctionally with engineering quality assurance supply chain and program management teams to support timely and efficient production.
Maintain production workflows through technician workload planning shift coverage and resource allocation.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization efficiency gains and defect reduction using lean principles.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including standard work instructions build travelers and quality checklists in collaboration with engineering teams.
Provide performance feedback training and mentorship to support technician career development and technical growth.
Support the hiring and onboarding of new technicians to meet expanding production needs.
Ensure a clean organized and safe production environment that supports BCTs high standards of aerospace hardware manufacturing.
Responsible for ontime delivery and cost objectives across multiple product lines.

Required Qualifications/Education:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Aerospace Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in hightech or aerospace manufacturing with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of electromechanical assembly cable harnessing cleanroom protocols and satellite integration processes.
Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards ESD safety and aerospace documentation practices.
Proven leadership and teambuilding skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Strong problemsolving abilities and a handson proactive approach to team support and process troubleshooting.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems Microsoft Office Suite and digital manufacturing tools.
Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Exposure to cleanroom procedures and environmental test requirements (vibe thermal vacuum) preferred.
Experience in small satellite or spacecraft manufacturing environments preferred.
IPC certification (e.g. IPCA610 JSTD001 or familiarity with aerospace build standards preferred.
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers scanners filing cabinets and fax machines.BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date thenotice was posted.
