Location Toronto and surrounding areas

The Territory Sales Representative (VET) will drive accelerated growth in the Veterinary Business Pillar by achieving strategic goals through making direct calls on Veterinary Clinics and identifying opportunities which develop new business and increase points of distribution.

What are we looking for

  • A Bachelors degree and 2 years of businesstobusiness sales experience.
  • Sales experience in a pet hospital or clinic is also desirable.
  • Vet experience is almost a must but may be willing to look at Pet Nutrition experience if the right candidate
  • Ideally Vet sales experience or Vet operations experience (Tech or Practice Manager)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive selfstarter and a great planner
  • Work to KPIs
  • Need to be familiar and comfortable with driving in traffic or Toronto

What will be your key responsibilities

  • Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned territory by utilizing strong selling skills while developing and understanding customer needs to increase growth of sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key individuals within the clinics and continue to identify new potential clinics and set strategies to align customers for recommending Mars product as their primary therapeutic diet for their clients/patients.
  • Collaborate with your team and other company associates to provide valuable contributions to the company and provide customer insights to your regional team.
  • Attend and participate in trade shows regional and company meetings/conference calls as required.
  • Complete weekly activity expense and other adhoc reporting as needed by your manager.
