Job Description
Great Southern Wood Preserving Inc. makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pine is seeking an MIS Helpdesk Technician. The individual will assist our customers with questions and problems concerning computer systems hardware and software. This is a fulltime position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Essential Duties:
- Work with customers remotely and in person guiding them through systems configuration and troubleshooting while aiming to resolve issues with efficiency.
- Provide quick and effective assistance with information technology systems.
- Listen attentively to customers questions and concerns and offer optimal solutions.
- Guide customers remotely and in person through systems configuration troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Respond to tech inquiries via email through online chats over the phone or in person.
- Infer inquire and transcribe daytoday hardware/software issues
- Delegate issues as they become more advanced; escalate when higher priority
- Collaborate with teammates to inform and stay up to date on needtoknows
- Follow up with end users and teammates to ensure good support
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree or minimum of four 4 years of college education in Computer Science or a related field
