A successful growing manufacturer that has recently expanded is seeking an EHS Coordinator. As the EHS Coordinator you will report to the EHS Manager and will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Promote and foster a safetyoriented culture
  • Complete job hazard analysis
  • Lead and complete accident investigations
  • Reevaluate and improve EHS processes
  • Participate in the safety committee
  • Present EHS status to upper level management on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Create and facilitate safety and environmental training at all levels
  • Complete safety documentation and maintain compliance
  • Maintain the OSHA log
  • Collect and update data and complete analysis related to EHS programs permits and records
  • Serve as the liaison with regulatory agencies related to EHS matters
  • Lead and coordinate environmental and safetyinspection and audits
  • Ensure environmental and safety government compliance
  • Show a presence on the manufacturing floor to drive the companys safety initiatives
  • Document and track completed training for the staff within the company LMS
  • Complete water and air permit requirements
  • Partner with HR on BWC process including completing investigations and implementing countermeasures
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
This is a handson position that requires candidates to complete frontline EHS tasks. Candidates must be able to find ways to engage others in safety training have excellent organizational skills be selfdirected enjoy working within teams and have superior problem solving skills. Successful candidates will be flexible with work requirements have excellent presentation skills have a passion for training and safety and enjoy working with others at all levels.

A Bachelors degree in a related EHS field is desired but not required depending on years of experience in a similar role2. Depending on level of education at least five years in a similar EHS position
3. Strong environmentalfocused background
4. Strong safetyfocused background5. Experience with accident investigations
6. Experience with auditing
7. Experience conducting training8. Microsoft Office including strong MS Excel skillsSkills preferred but NOT required:1. Chemical manufacturing experience2. International business experience3. LMS experience
4. ISO 14001 experience
5. PSM (Process Safety Management) or RMP (Risk Management Program) experience
