SUMMARY
Our experienced painters do the final topcoat of paint to our service trucks. The team members are responsible for painting and touching up painted metal parts and/or finished products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prime paint and touch up vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes.
- Ensure proper masking to specifications of the vehicle.
- Sand wash & condition parts as needed.
- Ability to properly maintain & set up paint equipment as instructed by your supervisor.
- Some light assemble work clean & repairs.
- Properly transport product from the paint area to next area of assembly.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in painting of automotive or heavy vehicle equipment in manufacturing industrial or automotive body shop.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Strong mathematical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to use power washer and caulk gun.
- 23 years experience priming and painting.
- Previous paint experience with plural component products helpful
- High School or GED.
