Job Title: 6th8th Grade Reading Language Arts (RLA) TeacherLocation: Trinidad Independent School District Trinidad TexasPosition Type: Fulltime Job Summary:Trinidad ISD is seeking a highly motivated and passionate 6th8th Grade Reading Language Arts (RLA) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with small class sizes providing individualized attention to students while fostering a love for reading and writing. This position offers a supportive environment state base pay and the possibility of coaching duties. The teacher will utilize the HMH Curriculum to guide instruction and assessments aligned with state standards.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Reading and Language Arts to students in grades 68.Utilize the HMH Curriculum to plan and implement instructional activities.Maintain a positive inclusive and productive classroom environment.Monitor and assess student progress providing interventions as needed.Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance student success and district initiatives.Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom events.Possibility of taking on coaching duties depending on qualifications and interest.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.Valid Texas teaching certification for grades 68 in Reading and Language Arts.Experience or willingness to work with small class sizes.Knowledge and experience using the HMH Curriculum.Strong classroom management skills and ability to foster an engaging studentcentered environment.Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.Coaching experience or interest is a plus.A valid Texas Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is also a plus.Compensation:State base pay as per Texas Education Agency guidelines.Additional districtspecific benefits and stipends may apply.Possibility of additional pay for coaching duties.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit an application to Michael Warren at ISD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
