Job Summary:
The Director of Sales atDoubleTree Deerfield Beach FL is a fulltime individual contributor role in the Hotel/Hospitality industry. This position is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase market share for the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales exceptional communication and leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals for the hotel
Identify and target key market segments and source new clients for group sales catering events and room bookings
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and actively seek out new business opportunities
Conduct sales calls and presentations to potential clients and negotiate contracts
Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless of events and customer satisfaction
Coordinate with revenue management to set pricing and maximize profit for group bookings and events
Monitor sales and revenue performance and provide regular reports and analysis to leadership
Stay updated on industry trends competitors activities and local events to adjust strategies as needed
Manage a team of sales coordinators and provide leadership and support to achieve collective goals
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Hospitality Management or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hotel/hospitality industry with proven success in driving revenue and increasing market share
Strong knowledge of sales techniques market analysis and negotiation strategies
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills
Proven leadership skills with experience managing a sales team
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and travel as required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
Must possess a valid drivers license and have a reliable mode of transportation
