Job Description
Do you have a passion for working with children and families Come join a small team of dedicated therapists working to improve the lives of youth and families in the community. Grace Harbour is looking for compassionate dedicated people who want to empower youth and families by creating strengthbased behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends. You will receive extensive and ongoing training and supervision in the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model as you work with families and youth to implement FFT as designed. FFT therapists engage the entire family unit in active changeoriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to address the needs of juveniles who are involved in highrisk behaviors and in some cases substance abuse.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive initial assessment to include all desired treatment outcomes assessment of systemic strengths and needs comprehensive safety plan and analysis of contributing factors to referral behaviors
- Carry a caseload of 1012 clients
- Engage the entire family unit in active changeoriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement
- Implement problem conceptualization treatment planning intervention implementation case outcome review and strategy revision procedure
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback and that demonstrate compliance with the FFT model
- Collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buyin and cooperation throughout FFT treatment
- Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with the FFT model
- Participate in all FFT training supervision and consultation activities
Experience(Preferred)
- Direct use of pragmatic (i.e. structural strategic and functional) family therapies
- Individual therapy with children and adults using cognitive behavioral techniques
- Marital therapy using behaviorallybased approaches
- Behavioral therapy targeting behavior change
Education(Required)
- Masters degree in Counseling Social Work Psychology or closely related field
** Must be Licensed
- Therapists must hold a professional license in one of the following areas: LPC LPCA LISW LMSW LMFT or LMFTA.
Salary range is $45267$50092 Annually(Commensurate with Education License Level and Experience)
