Job Description
Founded in 1967 Blue Ridge Community College has served the residents of the central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia for over 50 years. Its comprehensive program of instruction includes associate degrees diplomas and certificates in occupational/technical and college/university transfer programs. The College also provides noncredit workforce training and special interest classes for individuals business and industry. Parttime position in BRCCs Safety and Security Office. Will provide administrative support to the Public Safety Coordinator manage student workers databases & spreadsheets print campus ID cards assist with parking administration and provide customer service to a diverse population of students faculty staff and general public. Position will require a direct line of communication and correspondence with Campus Security.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working with the public is desired. Skills and knowledge of AccessIt RS2 Blackboard or other access control/ software and student information system software is a plus.
Work Schedule
Normal work hours 9:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. two to three days per week. Additional/different hours may be required based on business necessity.
