About the Position

We are seeking a reliable highly organized and proactive Household Manager to oversee daily household operations and provide afterschool care transportation and oversight for two teen children. The ideal candidate will possess excellent multitasking abilities strong communication skills and the flexibility to manage a variety of household and personal tasks. A great rapport with children and an excellent driving record and proof of such are required.



Requirements

What youll be responsible for:

Driving & Transportation:

  • Safely and responsibly perform school dropoffs and pickups.
  • Transport children to afterschool activities.
  • Run errands such as grocery shopping picking up prescriptions dry cleaning and other household needs.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and coordinate maintenance when using a family car.

Childcare & Family Support:

  • Provide afterschool supervision ensuring children complete homework and school assignments.
  • Help to support children to stay ontask offer guidance and helping to foster responsibility and independence.
  • Maintain open and proactive communication with parents regarding schedules school updates and childrens activities.
  • Coordinate schedules with parents and activities as needed.

Household Management & Personal Assistance:

  • Oversee household organization and upkeep ensuring common areas remain tidy.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks (e.g. laundry dishwashing vacuuming organizing).
  • Manage household maintenance tasks liaise with service providers and schedule repairs when needed.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are met.
  • Handle household shopping and maintain an inventory of supplies.
  • Provide basic pet care including feeding walking and coordinating petrelated appointments.
  • Utilize technology to research vendors schedule services and manage household tasks efficiently.

The skills and experience you should have:

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (proof required).
  • Proven experience as a household manager personal assistant or similar role preferred.
  • Childcare experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong technology skills for scheduling research and communication.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be trustworthy punctual and proactive.
  • Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend support is a plus.
