Seeking a Relief Respite Clinician
Riverside Community Cares DMH Respite Program provides support and crisis intervention for adults through shortterm 24hour treatment in a structured homelike setting. Respite provides personcentered solutionfocused stabilization and treatment to individuals in psychiatric crisis.
Riverside Community Cares Respite Program is seeking a masterlevel clinician with diagnostic skills and the ability to deescalate and provide crisis interventions. Our ideal candidate would rapidly establish rapport with a wide range of clinical presentations. The candidate would work with individuals to provide shortterm support and assist with accessing communitybased services while working within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Work within a multidisciplinary team and provide daily individual and group therapy to individuals onsite at the DMH Respite program.
- Provide communitybased support to individuals enrolled in the DMH Mobile Respite Program
- Provide collateral and family consultations case management and consultation
- Develop and implement goaloriented treatment plans for all clients in the program within 24 hours of admission.
- Conduct concurrent reviews with insurers as needed to obtain authorization for services.
- Document all clinical and collateral contacts as well as case management activities in Evolv (electronic health record)
- Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds
Schedule: Flexible 10 and 12 hours shifts available; great worklife balance opportunity to work a 3 or 4day workweek
Payrate:
- Unlicensed Clinician $35.70/hourly
- Independent Licensure $38.25/hourly

Required Skills
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills required
- Basic computer fluency including Microsoft Office required
- Committed to continuous improvement takes initiative selfaware
Required Experience
- Masters in Social Work Psychology or related field (clinical degree that provides a path to independent licensure) required
- Experience running groups preferred
- Experience / knowledge of insurers
- Clinical experience with adults and knowledge of the adult system of care required
