Job Description
As AMHC expands its continuum of care our mental health program has a brand new position for a fulltime Therapist Consultant for Home & Community Treatment (HCT) based out of Machias Office HCT TherapistConsultant is responsible for providing mental health and substance abuse assessment Mental Health treatment consultation and educational services as a lead member of the inhome HCT team within the geographic service area to which he/she is assigned. They will provide intensive inhome supportive services to children and families who are experiencing socialemotional difficulties. Services are offered to the child and family in their natural environments so that skills can be learned and integrated into their daytoday experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Compassionate HCT services supporting the client and family
- Assist in developing a Collaborative Community Support Plan for the family and children focused on Service to the family
- Demonstrate AMHCs focus on Excellence by providing Respectful services in the home as needed by clients and family
- Support Emergency services mobile staff and family crisis plans when needed with Integrity.
