Employment Type: Fulltime permanent position

Your Work Environment:

As a Maintenance Automation Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of automated systems within a stateoftheart manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and upgrading automation systems PLCs robotics and control systems to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Your expertise will support continuous improvement initiatives ensuring optimal system performance.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of automated systems within the facility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PLCs robotics control systems and automation software.
  • Upgrade and improve existing automation systems to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement process improvements.
  • Program and configure automation software including SCADA HMI and CAD tools.
  • Analyze system diagnostics to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
  • Lead and support automation projects from conception to implementation.
  • Train staff on system functionalities and troubleshooting best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulatory and industry standards.

Your MustHaves:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment.
  • Strong expertise in PLCs robotics automation software and control systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic Python or C.
  • Handson experience with SCADA HMI and CAD tools for automation systems.
  • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills in a fastpaced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and train staff.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

An Asset to Have:

  • Certifications such as AWS ISTQB CE ITIL CCNA or similar.
  • Experience managing automation projects from conception to implementation.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for automation systems.
