Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Managing schedule of new product development to ensure ontrack realization of a
qualified product.
Managing daytoday works of every matrix lots to ensure ontrack delivery.
Support NPI team to setup of needed mask/process/workflow including both frontend
and backend (die assembly and characterization) process flows.
Support failure analysis activities from identified issues as well as leading the analysis
of identified failures on the wafer fabrication and product characterization.

Lead the efforts to drive production rampup readiness. Coordinate with crossfunctional team (EPI process assembly test product engineering etc) to ensure
manufacturing readiness of chip design and specs new equipments process flow and
specs documentation and test database infrastructure etc.
Support product engineering team to drive yield improvement on characterization
issues that involve interaction of multiple process areas on adhoc basis.
Perform design/process/test experiments to provide corrective actions on identified
failure modes during new production development.
Education & Experience
3 years of experience in IIIV semiconductor laser related device design process
development and characterization is required.
PhD degree in electrical engineering material science physics or other relevant
major.
Skills
Handson experience with design process and characterization of optoelectronic
device such as VCSEL DFB laser or photonic integrated chip.
Strong statistical data analysis skills (JMP or Minitab etc..
Familiarity with semiconductor wafer fab operations (Manufacturing System
process and quality control change management etc..
Experience with optoelectronic device reliability testing and modeling is a plus.
Strong communication skills; adept at hosting effective meetings and facilitating
actions and resolving conflicts.
Strong ability to drive actions and solutions through crossfunctional teams.Collaborate in a professional and respectful manner with coworkers vendors contractors etc.

- Work in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periods
- Wear full cleanroom attire (smock mask etc.
- Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids)
- Stand for up to 4 hours at a time
- Lift up to 1630 Pounds
- Push/Pull up to 1630 pounds
- Sit for up to 4 hours at a time
