Job Description

The Senior Claims Examiner is responsible for managing investigating and resolving complex insurance claims. This role requires a high level of expertise in claims handling strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of insurance policies and regulations. The Senior Claims Examiner will work closely with clients adjusters and legal professionals to ensure fair and timely settlement of claims.

Salary/Benefits

  • $80k $85k /Yearly (based on experience)

Job Description

  • Handling GL bodily injury claims mostly. May cross train in Property Damage
  • Average caseload: 80100 MAX
  • Litigated files 50
  • Injury evaluation and negotiation is a must
  • Handling claims up to $500k. Average is going to be $100k$250k (Authority level up to $100K)

Requirements

  • Need to have commercial background (Auto Property or GL)
  • Injury evaluation and negotiation is a must
  • Need to be comfortable handling claims all over the US
  • Handling claims up to $500k. Average is going to be $100k$250k (Authority level up to $100K)
  • 57 years in insurance and 3 in litigation
  • A JD from an ABA accredited law school may be considered as a supplement to claims handling experience
  • Advanced knowledge of claims analysis and adjusting practices
  • B.A./B. S degree from an accredited College or University preferred
