Our Family Health Wellness Center is looking for a knowledgeable Pilates Instructor who is passionate about helping others improve their physical wellbeing through the practice of Pilates. As a Pilates Instructor at our Wellness Center you will have the opportunity to create a positive and supportive environment for students of all levels.
Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of human anatomy allowing you to provide modifications to students at any level. Responsibilities:
Create a positive and supportive environment for students of all levels.
Provide clear demonstrations (when necessary) and explanations of exercises ensuring correct form and technique among participants
Modify exercises as necessary to accommodate varying skill levels and individual needs
Address client questions and concerns regarding technique modifications or general Pilates principles
Offer guidance and feedback to clients to help them progress in their Pilates practice
Maintain a safe and clean environment conducive to Pilates practice
Ensure space used is properly set up and maintained
Routine sanitation of equipment and space
Qualifications:
Current Mat Pilates Certification (Required)
Strong understanding of anatomy and biomechanics relevant to Pilates exercises
Ability to work with individuals of diverse ages and skill levels
Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to effectively instruct and motivate clients
Flexibility to work mornings or evenings depending on class schedules
Passion for health wellness and helping others achieve their wellbeing goals
Teaching: 2 years instructing group classes (Required)
Must be 18 years old to apply
Experience: Teaching: 2 years (Required)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00/hour
License/Certification: CPR/AED Certification (Preferred)
