Job Description
Cyber Software Engineer (Software Engineer labor categories)
Can start without a clearance but must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
Research and develop innovative solutions for a bestinclass secure computing environment as part of a highly adaptable rapid prototyping group.
- Build proofs of concept for oneofakind capabilities
- Perform peer testing and code review
- Troubleshoot and debug issues
- Contribute to all levels of the architecture
- Maintain technical documentation
- Develop a familiarity with new tools and best practices
- Collaborate with team to author technical reports and demonstrate capabilities to both internal and external stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or another technical field
- 24 years professional software development experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Experience writing testing and debugging software
- Experience with version control issue tracking and documentation tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong knowledge of C/C
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Other Requirement: US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Linux development experience at user and kernel levels
- Experience modifying and compiling large opensource codebases
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins
- CompTIA Security certification
