About The Role:
Expression is seeking aSenior DevOps Engineerto support the modernization of Data Systems with a primary focus onDevSecOps inAzure Cloud. This role involves designing implementing and maintainingsecure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructurewithin sensitive and classified environments to ensure delivery of missioncritical data analysis and machine learning applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience withAzure CloudAzure DevOps and other modern DevSecOps toolingDoD compute environments and security complianceand moderninfrastructure automationpractices.

Responsibilities:
- Design deploy and manageAzure Cloud architecturewithin DoD guidelines
- ManageInfrastructure as Code (IaC)deployments
- Ensure compliance withDoD security requirementsandbest practices
- Leadcrossfunctional teamsin defining secure infrastructure requirements
- Develop and maintainsecure CI/CD pipelines
- Implementdeployment strategies aligned with DoD security protocols
- Automatebuild test and deploymentprocesses usingAzure DevOps Pipelines
- Ensurecode securitythroughpipeline integration
- Implement and maintainsecurity controlsper DoD requirements
- Conductsecurity assessmentsandvulnerability remediation
- Collaborate withsecurity teamsonRMF documentation
- Ensurecontinuous compliancewithDoD security standards
- Monitorsystem performance and security
- Implementlogging and monitoring solutionsLeadincident responseandproblem resolution
- Ensureresilience and high availabilityfor missioncritical systems
Required Qualifications:
- Eligible for Secret clearance
- CurrentSecurity certification(or must obtain within 30 days)
- One of the following:
- Bachelors degreein Computer Science Engineering or related field with5 years of DevOps experience
- 8 years of relevant DevOps/Cloud engineering experience
- Experience with Azure DevOpsimplementing DevSecOps pipelines in commercial and classified environments.
- Experience with the container ecosystem Kubernetes Helm Docker etc.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation
- Experience with Azure Commercial Cloud and Azure Government Cloud
- Strongscripting skills in Pythonor other languages
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementingDoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Strong understanding of theRisk Management Framework (RMF)
- Knowledge ofDoD security documentation requirements
- Experience withsecurity scanning tools(Nessus SonarQube Aqua Security or similar) and remediation
- Database administration(SQL NoSQL Vector etc.
- Elasticsearch/OpenSearch administration
- Version control
- Linux administration
- Experience indata engineering tools and technologies like Databricks Spark Hadoop and data warehousing solutions
- Familiarity withmachine learning concepts and tools
- Experience withdata visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Relevantcloud security certifications(e.g. Azure Security Engineer Associate)
$150000 $185000 a year
