Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director Strategy Delivery the Scrum Master will collaborate with Engineering Product and other Enterprise teams to ensure successful delivery of digital banking applications for Haventree Bank. The role is handson with exceptional facilitation skills focused to remove blockers facilitate crossfunctional planning proactively identify and mitigate risks resolve conflicts professionally and produce transparent delivery metrics engaging both scrum and waterfall teams.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan manage and facilitate successful of project delivery working closely in collaboration with Agile squads and waterfall delivery teams
• Facilitate daily ceremonies as required including stand ups sprint planning assist in backlog prioritization dependency management demos retros etc. that enable and accelerate product and engineering teams to deliver
• Remove and resolve roadblocks issues proactively manage and mitigate risks identify cross functional and inter departmental dependencies and manage overall project plan
• Actively track all critical path activities and their status enabling transparency of project status
• Deep collaboration with product and engineering leaders to create/update delivery dashboards issues risks mitigations costs and other delivery parameters as required
• Foster continuous improvement of performance in the areas of quality predictability flow and velocity as applicable agnostic of the type of delivery model agile or waterfall or hybrid
• Anticipate and mitigate potential issues with project delivery while maintaining transparent communication
• Escalate and drive resolution of cross workstream dependencies
• Demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge to effectively engage with development architecture infrastructure QA and other relevant teams
• Must be Tech and product savvy and be able to work with business technology architecture QA and other cross functional teams
• Quickly grasp technical dependencies (including external vendor dependencies) and constraints that impact delivery timelines
• Navigate technical documentation and artifacts to facilitate informed decision making
• Ensure delivery processes and solutions align with risk compliance and cybersecurity standards
• Translate complex technical concepts integrations and dependencies into understandable terms to business and other stakeholders in alignment to the overall project plan
• Assess technical feasibility of proposed requirements and solutions against project implementation timelines
• Help teams develop selforganization and crossfunctional behaviours that emulate one team culture

• Maintain up to date documentation throughout the delivery cycle in alignment with product and engineering teams (i.e. core delivery teams) and ensure successful audit outcomes
• Document lessons learned and improvement opportunities (i.e. Continuous improvement theme)
• Regularly communicate project status in alignment with program governance

Qualifications & Experience:

Degrees Diplomas & Certifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science IT Business Administration or related field
• Scrum Kanban or SAFe experience. Relevant certification CSM SAFe ACP etc.

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

• 10 years of experience in roles such as Scrum Master Technology Project Manager or similar in a product development ecosystem preferably in the banking industry
• Advanced proficiency with collaboration tools including Jira (mandatory) Confluence and other productivity software for tracking and reporting
• Strong technical understanding of banking software development process with ability to effectively communicate between technical and functional teams
• Good understanding and working experience on technical topics such as APIs DevOps practices environments release data and CI/CD
• Demonstrated experience to manage vendor delivery and integration
• Expert in Agile delivery Ceremonies and Servant leadership
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
• Strong analytical and problemsolving
• Strong documentation and organizational navigation
• Detailoriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong Team collaboration and relationship building
