Job Description:


Kanawha Scales & Systems is looking for a System Service Technician!


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Specialty Products Data Collection Systems (DCS) for the Weigh Master and BatchMaster systems.
  • Install maintain and support all scale side hardware and software for DCS.
  • Setup configure and make initial backup of all DCS.
  • Maintain company equipment and vehicles in a professional manner.
  • Stay current on Microsoft Windows Operating System SQL Server and related software.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and associated hardware and system components.
  • Participate in on call and call out rotations.
  • Be prepared to work irregular hours and travel for systems support and installs. All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (Trade School or Associates degree preferred)
  • MSOffice products competency
  • Customer Service experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Pass drug test
  • Submit to a background check

Preferred Skills:

  • PC Hardware Troubleshooting
  • Basic computer networking
  • Windows Operating Systems support and configuration
  • Good organizational and documentation skills
  • Rockwell PLC Software (RSLinx & RSLogix)
  • Electronic and Electrical KnowledgeTroubleshooting
  • Digital MultiMeter Use
  • Hydraulics experience
  • Conduit Installation
