Provides educational instruction for healthcare applications and assists with identifying the training needs of the identified users of systems and EMR applications. Provides administrative support through the maintenance of the training database defined to support clinical systems record needs. Assists with the development of training curriculum and training materials for medical groups. Trains physicians and staff in the use of the EMR application and other systems. Evaluates and documents work flows to ensure the most efficient and effective use of the system.
Education and Training
- Associates degree or equivalent experience required. Clinical designation (CMA LPN RN) preferred.
Experience
- Two to three years of individual or group training and clinical experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

- Skill in written communication to compose materials for end users.
- Knowledge and skill in work processing spreadsheet database presentation email and scheduling applications and the ability to acquire additional skills if necessary.
- Maintains confidentiality of employee patient and financial records.
- Ability to present course materials in classroom and oneonone environments using adult learning techniques to effectively convey information in an appropriate manner to users with a variety of skill levels from novice to power users.
