About LWC Drinks Teesside:

LWC Drinks Ltd provides licensed establishments with all of their bar and sundry supplies. LWC Drinks are more than just a distributor and at 24th place in the Sunday Times PWC Profit Track 100 they have become the fastest growing privately owned drinks company in Britain. Their aim is to provide the best customer service in the industry as well as an impressive and extensive portfolio of products. Currently LWC Drinks employ over 500 people and they have 11 depots across the UK as well as a Support Centre and Hub distribution centre based in Openshaw in Manchester.


Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant. This role involves assisting with the receiving and organizing of goods preparing orders for delivery and ensuring smooth stock management operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage daily delivery notes for seamless order processing
  • Accurately pick and prepare orders for timely delivery
  • Operate manual and electric pallet trucks to move stock efficiently
  • Handle stock setup rotation and removal to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Ensure a clean safe and organized working environment at all times

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Physically fit and able to lift and move stock
  • Excellent time management and punctuality
  • Dependable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday to Friday.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required with paid overtime.
  • Alternatively flexible working hours available within a 40hour week (e.g. 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

Wage:

  • Apprenticeship wage dependent on age.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
