Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
As a coop Engineering student at BWH to obtain valuable handson experience within the Engineering Services Department. Observe all aspects of facility such as; Mechanical Electrical Plumbing Maintenance and performing associated duties relating to these functions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Responsible for updating and maintaining all drawings O&M Manuals and documentation.
2.Responsible for performing maintenance activities for various pieces of Engineering equipment.
3.Responsible for working for all Engineering Supervisors upon request.
4.Work alongside various department staff and also alone on assigned tasks.
5.All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Must be able to write and follow verbal or written instructions.
2.Must be currently enrolled in a Facilities Engineering Program.
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
1.Must have the ability to organize different types of documents.
2.Requires some lifting of heavy objects and a lot of walking.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work requires exposure to disagreeable temperature noise dirt and fumes (up to 30 of the time).
