Job Description
As part of Ecolabs Corporate Development team the Corporate Development Manager/Sr Manager is responsible for evaluating M&A opportunities and investments preparing complex financial valuation models and analyzing strategic fit. The role also supports the preparation of materials for executive management review coordination of the due diligence process and supporting negotiations.
This is a highvisibility position requiring analytical thinking excellent project management skills an understanding of M&A concepts and strong attention to detail.
What You Will Do:
- Work with functional and business teams to develop financial forecasts and proper accounting treatment to incorporate into financial valuation models.
- Conduct financial statement analysis to evaluate business performance.
- Support and organize transaction due diligence process including request tracking coordination of internal and external resources and synthesis of due diligence findings.
- Conduct research and indepth analyses of companies markets and industries and assess their attractiveness and strategic fit with Ecolab.
- Coordinate Capital Authorization Requests and draft project presentations.
- Manage adhoc strategic and financial analyses and projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA with 4 years of experience or bachelors degree in business with 7 years of experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office to create both complex financial models and executivelevel presentations
- Business acumen and understanding of the linkage between business strategy and financial performance
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
- CFA or CPA
- Experience in corporate development strategic planning consulting finance and/or investment banking
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and organization skills high attention to detail the ability to work independently
