We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Pediatricianto join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to children focusing on preventive health diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses and supporting the overall development of pediatric patients. What Youll Do:
- Conduct routine wellness exams developmental screenings and immunizations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric illnesses and conditions.
- Provide guidanceand counseling to patients and their families on nutrition growth development safety and prevention.
- Educate and support parents and caregivers regarding their childs health.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providersto streamline care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate medical recordsand ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach programs.
What Were Looking For:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic and funloving team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Pediatric specialty certification and at least 3 years of experience
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP)
- Current Virginia medical license Pediatric Board Certification required.
- Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with pediatric experience.
- Active state RN and APRN license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to evidencebased medicine and patientcentered care.
- Flexibility to work primarily at our Centreville and Greenbriar locations and occasionally in ourBrambleton location.
