Roles & Responsibilities
1. Designing and developing ETL Workflows using modern coding and testing standards.
2. Participating in our agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the teams goals.
3. Working collaboratively with a global team of technologists.
4. Leading with ideas and innovation.
5. Managing communication and partnering with our end users to design solutions.
Required Skills:
Must have: Total experience required 610 years (relevant experience minimum 5 years)
5 years of proven project experience in Python scripting in Data Engineering (Experience in
building and optimizing data pipelines architectures and data sets).
3 Years of experience in Pyspark scripting including architecture framework of spark.
35 years of experience in Databases including Schema Design SQL Stored Procedures Triggers
and Performance Tuning (Good to have Sybase).
Strong understanding of Unix Environment and batch scripting languages (shell/Python).
Strong engineering skills with ability to understand existing system designs and enhance or
migrate them.
Excellent analytical ability and problemsolving skills
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Excellent Design skills (Design Patterns)
Good to have:
Working knowledge on Java
Experience in reporting tools such as Business Objects
Good understanding of developing ETL processes using Informatica or any other ETL Tools.
Familiarity with XML or other markup languages
Experience working with Source Code Management solutions (eg. Git)
Familiarity with standard Agile & DevOps methodology & tools Jenkins Sonar Jira
Knowledge of Investment Management Business
Mandatory Skill Set5 years of proven project experience in Python scripting in Data Engineering
Preferred Skill SetWorking knowledge on Java
