Job Description
- Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify value prioritize resource and sustain improvement opportunities.
- Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
- Approach work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset and serving as an example of living our Producers Dairy purpose and core values.
- Conducting activities in a safe manner following company safety guidelines and requirements and proactively addresses any unsafe conditions observed.
- Determine nature of needed repairs for company tractors and trailers through accurate troubleshooting.
- Work with the garage manager to properly prioritize work and complete within appropriate timelines.
- Adjust valves according to specifications and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping the specified gas or fluid into the system.
- Test lines components and connections for leaks.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
- Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment Servicing repairing adjusting and testing machines devices moving parts and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles.
- Makes safety a top priority properly manages time and prepares for jobs so as to work in a safe manner. Asks for help when needed.
- Maintain appropriate dress hygiene and personal appearance standards so as to represent the department and the Company in a positive and professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma/GED
- Demonstrated organization and accuracy skills; selfmotivated detailoriented and able to handle multiple projects/tasks with competing deadlines. Must demonstrate the ability to solve problems accept constructive feedback and show flexibility should priorities and/or deadlines change.
- Excellent verbal and written skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence. Must be able to build productive relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Experience using Thermal King
