Overview: JRG Legal Partners recognized as one of the top firms to work for in Broward County is seeking an experienced Construction Defect Paralegal for one of our elite clients. This role demands a meticulous and proactive professional to support complex construction defect cases.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed case management and maintain comprehensive case files.
- Assist in the discovery process by managing the collection review and production of documents; prepare deposition and trial exhibits.
- Coordinate with experts and other witnesses to obtain analysis reports and statements.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings motions and settlement agreements.
- Liaise with clients to ensure seamless communication and case progression.
- Support attorneys in trial preparation and during trial proceedings.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in construction defect litigation.
- Paralegal certification from an ABAaccredited program.
- Proven capability to handle complex legal issues and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in legal research platforms.
