Your Impact
Handshake is hiring an experienced Engineering Manager for our Analytics & Integrations team to shape the future of career discovery for Generation Z. Youll lead a team building powerful embedded analytics datarich APIs and seamless integrations connecting universities students and employers across our emerging career social network. Combining your technical depth with inspiring leadership youll ensure millions of students across the globe find meaningful jobs and launch careers with confidence.
Your Role
- Build lead and grow a highperforming team of software engineers developing their technical and leadership skills; clearly define growth paths and motivate towards impactful outcomes
- Champion a datadriven product culture expanding the capabilities of our embedded analytics and employer integrations productscritical data sources fueling our applied AI and ML initiatives that shape student experiences
- Partner closely with key stakeholders across Handshake including Product Management Data Engineering Machine Learning and gotomarket teams defining clear ambitious and measurable goals to enhance data accessibility quality and integration reliability at scale
- Guide technical decisions and provide technical coaching helping tech leads to define and prioritize our product and engineering roadmap
- Lead with empathy as you help us nurture a culture of growth inclusion and belonging
Your Experience
- 2 years of experience managing a technical team in a people leadership role
- 5 years of experience in Backend Engineering with one or more programming languages (Ruby Java Go JavaScript etc.
- Demonstrable experience operating distributed services in production environments
- Knowhow and success working crossfunctionally to drive impactful productlevel outcomes

For cash compensation we set standard ranges for allU.S.based rolesbased on function level and geographic location benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
