About the role:

As a Residential Care Worker in this active night position youll be at the heart of an inspiring mission playing a key role in the dynamic fastpaced environment of our unit. During these energetic overnight hours youll directly impact young lives by responding to their emotional and functional needs guiding them through essential personal growth and ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Youll also take charge of administrative duties and help create a warm supportive household atmosphere.

From cooking and cleaning to supporting with homework appointments and school runs youll be there every step of the way helping these young individuals thrive. We have multiple Active Night positions available in Bendigo to suit your lifestyle.

(Active Night Residential Care Work is being awake from 10pm to 7am)

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Child Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care or other similar or relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • A genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing.
  • Demonstrate empathy for young people in our care in an openminded and nonjudgmental manner.
  • Highly developed capacity for emotional selfregulation including the capacity to set and maintain consistent boundaries to provide safety stability and consistency.
