Job Description
LEAD TEACHER
Deep Roots Montessori is seeking an experienced Montessori Lead Teacher for the primary classroom.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a deep commitment to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing attention and support to each child based on their needs and abilities.
2. Interact positively with all children to support their individual learning experience.
3. Planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
4. Creating and maintaining a classroom environment that is organized clean and functional to learning.
5. Observing and assessing childrens progress and development; using this information for curriculum planning and instruction.
6.. Maintaining accurate and up to date records of each childs progress anddevelopment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Holds certification in Montessori from a recognized training center and/ or has experience teaching young children in a Montessori.Must have previous experience working with 3 6 years old.Must have at least 1 year experience as a Lead Montessori teacher.
Provides proper references from past employers.
Fulfill all requirements of State and local Licensing agencies.
CPR and first aid certification
