Job Description

The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Manager Talent Attraction for our Human Resources Team within our Home Office located at 147 Commerce Drive in Winnipeg MB.

As a Manager Talent Attraction you will be responsible for Talent Acquisition processes tools budgets systems and new team member experience while leading the Talent Acquisition team. This position will create modern marketing strategies for the recruiting process to give TDG a competitive edge in finding and attracting quality candidates by creating an employer brand that attracts leading talent.

As the Manager Talent Attraction you will:

  • Lead motivate and mentor the talent acquisition team to meet the recruitment needs across multiple retail stores distribution centres and home office.
  • Develop a strategic recruitment strategy including Talent Profiles Predictive Index and leveraging data to guide decision making.
  • Plan and implement a datadriven recruitment strategy focusing on driving employer branding strategy to attract highquality talent and all talent acquisition processes.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all recruitmentrelated inquiries.
  • Optimize recruitment marketing channels and advertising spend to drive qualified talent to open positions.
  • Facilitate recruitment training initiatives for internal leadership teams and support the hiring managers as it relates to interviewing candidates and conducting reference checks as required.
  • Track analyze and report on key recruitment metrics.
  • Create a cohesive recruitment marketing initiatives calendar.
  • Enrich the careers page and social media accounts with multimedia posts and employee testimonials.
  • Research marketing and advertising trends in the staffing industry and keep abreast of new trends in social media channels as it relates to talent initiatives.
  • Be accountable for talent acquisition processes and recruitment marketing processes including tools budgets and systems.

As a successful candidate you will have the following:

  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources Marketing or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • CIR CSSR and ACIR designations are a plus.
  • 5 years of experience working in a recruitment marketing or talent acquisition specialist role.
  • 23 years of experience in developing and leading a team.
  • Indepth knowledge of employer branding strategies and recruitment marketing.
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Canva and/or other design tools is considered an asset.
  • Strong storytelling abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel within Canada as needed.
  • A satisfactory Criminal Record Check will be required.
