As a clinical psychologist at EMH you will bean integral part of the multidisciplinary team. We focus on providingclinicians with the tools needed to succeed in their roles. You will workdirectly with a trained clinical manager and the support team to enhance yourskill set and experience working with this complex population.
- Assess diagnose and treat residents inskilled nursing facilities. You will have the opportunity to provide mentalhealth services to a diverse and medically complex population includinggeriatric patients patients with disabilities and those with complexpsychiatric histories.
- Maintain an active caseload and work with theteam to maintain a referral stream.
- Develop relationships with facility staff andprovide consultation e.g. curbside consult inservices as needed etc.
- Complete clinical documentation in a timelymanner.
- Documentbased on medical necessity and inaccordance with Medicare standards.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. PsyD) in ClinicalPsychology (required)
- Current and valid California state license as aPsychologist (required)
- Medicare Provider eligibility (required ourinhouse billing team assists with this)
- Ability to be placed on 3rd party insurerpanels (required we assist with this process)
- Strong clinical background in evidencebasedpractices
- Telehealth experience and/or willingness tolearn and utilize modality
