You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe primary function of the Building Products Testing Technician is to perform testing on anchor bolts in concrete and all associated tasks related to quality and safety requirements under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor.
Salary: $24 $26/hr DOE
Install anchor bolts per manufacturers published instructions.
Use power tool and hand tool associated with installing concrete anchors and fixing wood or aluminum form work as well as general lab work.
Understand and perform testing in accordance with applicable test standards associated with concrete anchors.
Input raw data into Excel or other data analysis software.
Maintain established productions rates for performing anchor testing.
Work independently when given instructions.
Assist with equipment & materials inventory.
Assist with assembling and pouring concrete slabs.
Maintain test equipment tools and machinery and promptly report any malfunctions.
Maintain a clean orderly and safe working environment.
12 years relatable experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle within Element company policies. A valid drivers license is required.
Good mathematical knowledge required.
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand/power tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word Excel)
Welldeveloped oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs.
Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate).
Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and > 50 lbs. on occasion
Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50lbs periodically
