Job Description
Job Type: Fulltime
Salary: $19.00 $24.00 per hour
A CDL Knuckle Boom Truck Operator position includes various manual tasks associated with the daily operations. As a fulltime drywall delivery helper you will work with the driver to assist ontime delivery of building materials and products. You will unload building materials and place where customers direct.
Responsibilities:
Frequently working in all types of outside weather conditions possibly being exposed to wet and/or humid conditions fumes and/or heavy dust.
Always maintain current CDL license and medical certificate.
Always abide by all DOT Requirements and guidelines.
Maintains speed limit and weight load per DOT requirements and always operates vehicle in a safe manner.
Load and unload building materials at multiple job sites locally.
Ensure smooth ontime delivery of products and building material and place material where customers direct.
Load and unload building materials onto/off a truck (ex. drywall steel studs etc.
Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck comparing purchase orders signoff on delivery tickets and confirm addresses on delivery tickets and ensure that routing information is obtained prior to leaving the branch.
Conduct a job site inspection and document any existing damage to lawn landscaping or driveway and the location of any power lines sprinklers septic tanks mailboxes fences etc.
Capture pictures of all building products delivered in accordance with Company Policy.
Assist in securing the delivery load.
Assist in delivering material on time.
Must understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures
Must have knowledge and understanding of the procedures to use the tools and equipment safely and properly
Organize and maintain tool trailers in a neat and orderly fashion
Job Details:
This is a very fast paced environment. Job located outdoors so dealing with all types of weather is necessary.
Please be energetic detail oriented and have a positive attitude.
PHYSICALLY DEMANDING JOB. Ability to physically stand bend and lift up to 100 pounds.
Looking for a longterm employee.
Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
40hour work week. Flexible schedule. Overtime available.
