Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients mental health status and history
- Develop implement and evaluate treatment plans based on patients needs
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals families and groups
- Monitor patients progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate health records in compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the United States
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing or related field
- At least two years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing
- Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote practice effectively
