The Opportunity
Boughton Law is pleased to be expanding its Estate Litigation practice group to meet business demands and to better serve our clients today and into the future. If you are a collaborative entrepreneurial and engaged lawyer who is continuously seeking to learn while also committed to mentorship this could be a great opportunity to grow your practice. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals committed to client service excellence and join a culture of strong mentorship. Our Estate Litigation lawyers work closely with the lawyers in our Estate Planning and Personal Tax practice Group. Core aspects of the practice include helping families and companies resolve estate related disputes such as challenges to wills and the appointment of representatives.
The Role
Core services include guiding advising on and bringing and defending claims in respect of:
1. wills variation
2. issues surrounding testamentary capacity influence duress and similarly regarding the inter vivos disposition of assets
3. committesship applications
4. passings of accounts
5. interpretation issues
6. jointures and resulting trusts
7. constructive and other trust claims

The salary range for the role represents the Firms reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The starting salary is determined based on a number of factors including the successful candidates knowledge relevant experience and internal equity. We welcome your inquiry as to specifics.
