The Account Supervisor serves as the primary daytoday client contact. The Account Supervisor supports the development of the strategic direction for the brand and assists in managing the agency team from project planning through implementation. This position supports client relationships at the manager level account profitability and growth and strategic crosspillar servicing opportunities. The Account Supervisor is responsible for managing and training junior direct reports.
The successful Account Supervisor is extremely detailoriented an active listener able to take and give direction and effectively communicate business needs. This person possesses a general understanding of and is eager to learn more about managed markets marketing communications brand strategy and the pharmaceutical industry. He/she will have the ability to see projects through from planning to and has a clear understanding of how each project and overall scope of work supports the clients objectives and brands managed markets strategies.
Responsibilities:
Manages daytoday needs of account and maintains daily client contact and followup
Maintains financial control by assisting with internal bimonthly forecast updates preparing client budget/forecast reconciliations and generating annual financial budgets
Possesses as solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry managed markets space therapeutic category brand and relevant competitors
Works with internal team members to develop and understand the client Value Proposition; evaluates individual tactics developed by the agency against the Value Proposition
Works with internal team members to develop and understand the Project Brief for appropriate tactics; evaluates project against the Project Brief
Mentors educates trains and motivates junior account staff
Recognize and act upon opportunities to share additional pillar offerings in an effort to expand relationship with the client

Selfstarter who demonstrates initiative when exploring team and client needs responding to requests and learning about payers disease states therapeutic categories brands and communication channels
Demonstrates a developing proficiency of skills including but not limited to: attention to detail organization problem solving priority setting and presentation skills to internal and external audiences

Successfully manages multiple projects and exercises judgement to prioritize and accomplish tasks

Job Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (concentration in Marketing Communications preferred)
35 years of agency healthcare marketing experience
Strong knowledge of managed markets pharmaceutical marketing and sales. Brand management experience preferred
Travel required: 2040
