Job Duties:

• Assists in patient preparation positioning and completion of examinations.
• Actively seeks instruction and demonstration of medical imaging techniques practices and processes from credentialed technologists.
• Observes a patient when required.
• Assists in patient transporting.
• Assists in ensuring all necessary supplies are available and stocked.
• Assists technical staff with any/all duties necessary for completion of imaging studies.
• Applies principles of patient safety during all aspects of patient care.
• Effectively uses Radiology Information System.
• Efficiently completes reviews and prepares paperwork and corroborates a patients clinical history with the procedure and ensuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner.
• Maintains confidentiality and an ethical relationship with all patients and medical records.
• Must be a firstyear student actively attending an accredited educational radiologic technology program recognized by the JRCARRT JRCDMS or accredited program recognized by the CCAHEP or CMA.

Position Details:

Candidate must be a firstyear medical imaging student actively attending an accredited educational radiologic technology program recognized by the JRCARRT JRCDMS or accredited program recognized by the CCAHEP or CMA.
