Job Summary
This position serves as a Senior Scientist / Engineer at 2 Circle Consulting Inc. The Senior Scientist / Engineer will support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD R&E). Work onsite in Arlington VA is required.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead advisor to OUSD R&E leadership on research and development
- Technical advisor in the following areas:
- Military systems
- Cyber
- Electronic warfare
- Optics
- Material Science
- Electromagnetics
- Technology transition & fielding
- Written documentation and briefing of essential job functions
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree required
- Five years experience in the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Power Point and Excel)
- Efficient and accurate work output
- Good documentation writing and reporting skills
- Must be selfstarter able to take initiative work independently and recognize management issues that need to be elevated
- Must be able to multitask and maintain deadline punctuality during pressurized situations
- TS//SCI Clearance Required
