Overview

About Us:
Resonetics is a leader in micromanufacturing for life sciences specializing in precision laser processing and advanced automation. We are committed to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment and we are seeking a motivated EH&S Intern to support our Environmental Health & Safety programs. This internship runs from approximately from May August of 2025.

Position Overview:
This internship offers a handson opportunity to contribute to EH&S initiatives with a primary focus on reviewing and updating LockoutTagout (LOTO) procedures conducting machine guarding assessments and assisting with compliancerelated activities. Additional responsibilities include safety audits regulatory documentation updates and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with EH&S professionals to update and verify LockoutTagout (LOTO) procedures for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct machine guarding assessments and recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety.
  • Assist in safety audits risk assessments and compliance reporting.
  • Support the development of safety training materials and job aids.
  • Maintain detailed records and assist in ensuring adherence to OSHA and company safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Environmental Science Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety principles is a plus.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools for equipment assessments.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply principles of:
    • Risk assessment & hazard identification
    • Mechanical and electrical safety
    • Regulatory compliance and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated compensation is $20.00 per hour.
