Job Summary
As a Retail Food and Beverage Manager you will oversee the efficient operation of the retail and cafeteria services within Food & Nutrition Services reporting to the Director of Dining Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage special events cash controls payroll and lead hiring/training of hourly staff.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain public relations through effective resource management.
- Guide staff in delivering retail services aligned with corporate policies and standards.
- Train staff in customer service portion control cashier operations and safety/sanitation protocols.
- Complete reports accurately and on time adhering to corporate policies.
- Communicate clearly with team members patients and families.
- Enforce cash handling standards to prevent theft and ensure compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.S. in Food Services Management or related field; or A.A. with 3 years of relevant experience.
- 13 years of experience in retail foodservice management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food trends sanitation cost control marketing and presentation.
- Experience with P&L accountability and contractmanaged services.
- Proficient in cash retail operations and retail marketing.
- Leadership supervisory and coaching skills with strong communication abilities.
- Familiar with financial and budget management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office email and internetbased programs.
