Lake Forest Community High School is seeking a Student Theater Technical Assistant. The position reports to the Theater Director and the pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Assistwith technology support during schoolbased events (i.e. lighting sound setup projection etc.
Workwith the Theater Director to understand and prepare to fulfill the requests and needs associated with each event
Communicatewith the Theater Director regarding issues and/or concerns that occur during events
Checkin and out with the adult supervisor at each event
Submitrelevant paperwork associated with job responsibilities in a timely manner
Maintainsafe working environment for stakeholders materials equipment and facilities
Applyworking knowledge of sound equipment and light equipment to the production of the show
Perform other duties as assigned by Theater Director

Qualifications:

Understanding of audio and visual components

Ability to:

Understand and follow basic oral and written instructions
Follow school regulations and policies in a professional manner
Maintain good working relationships with staff and community members
Communicate to supervisors and staff in an acceptable/courteous manner

The work hours for this position vary by individual reservation assignment

Salary: $15.00 per hour
Benefits: Not Benefit Eligible
