Job Description

Pay range:
$40.32 $60.48Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a passionate Parttime 0.6 FTE) Social Worker or Mental Health Therapist to join the Cancer Services Team.
In this role you will provide counseling therapeutic assessments and interventions for adult oncology patients in a holistic culturally sensitive process that promotes the dignity respect safety and maximum optimal functioning of the individual. You will provide individual therapy sessions using evidence based treatments and develops individualized treatment plans.
As part of integrative psychiatry you will collaborate with the patients integrative psychiatrist their oncologist and the oncology social workers for shortterm management and stabilization of symptoms through therapeutic individual treatment with short term CBT or other applicable therapeutic approaches. You will be an essential part of the Cancer Services Program coordinating directly with staff psychiatrist providers and other interdisciplinary team members to effectively meet the behavioral health needs of the patients through individual therapy.
Requirements:
- Masters degree required.
- Candidate must possess one of the following licenses from the state of Washington: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Mariage & Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Minimum two 2 years of recent continuous experience as a psychotherapist required. Experience in providing psychotherapeutic behavioral health services in an outpatient setting is highly desirable. Needs a background and/or interest in working with cancer patients.

How much will this job pay
Posted pay ranges represent the entire pay scale from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional pay based on shift certification or level of education. Job offers are determined based on a candidates years of relevant experience and internal equity.
