About the Role
Reports directly to the plant manager and is responsible for 8 direct reports.
As the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering you will play a key leadership role in our manufacturing operations overseeing process development product enhancement machine optimization labor standards and cost reduction initiatives. You will be part of the decisionmaking team for this companys Orangeburg SC location. Your mission will be to drive continuous improvement enhance machine utilization and implement costeffective solutions that maximize productivity.

What Were Looking For
The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with deep expertise in manufacturing engineering and a proven ability to drive process improvements. You should have: 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with at least 510 years in management. A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience in medium/heavy manufacturing). Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all levels. Experience in cable manufacturing is a plus / extrusion experience is a must!! A systemsoriented mindset and a datadriven approach to decisionmaking. Proficiency in PCbased tools for analysis reporting and communication. Knowledge of metrology thermoplastics thermosets and process improvement methodologies. A strong understanding of manufacturing safety environmental regulations and quality systems. A competitive goaloriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
