Join our team as a Prep Cook at Michaelangelos Italian Bistro with Clancys Inc.!
Located in Downtown Noblesvilles Riverfront District Michaelangelos Italian Bistro is the premier Italian casual dining spot in Noblesville. Michaelangelos Italian Bistro is part of Clancys Inc. Restaurant Group. Menu highlights include more than a dozen pastas hand tossed pizzas flatbreads seafood & chicken and celebrated Italian Classics with an elevated twist. Signature Michaealangelos Cocktails or any wine from the extensive list top off the dining experience. Michaealangelos chic space is set in tones of white black and grays and boasts rich leathers making it perfect space to enjoy a great meal night out with the family or late night bite.
Who you are:The Prep Cook will work closely with the BOH management team to drive service each day and inspire team members to work together and hold one another accountable to the standards set. The Prep Cook will maintain compliance with DOH standards cleanliness efficiency and overall excellence. This role could also include opening or closing duties or stepping in to needed roles in the restaurant as business demands.
What youll do:
- Ability to execute and maintain the preparations and recipes
- Have a basic knowledge base of classic cooking techniques and ability to demonstrate these techniques
- Ability to demonstrate proper knifeskills andworkspacetidiness in a fastpaced environment
- Stay up to date on menu changes for all Lunch and Dinner shifts
What we need from you:
- Have knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) standards
- 1 year experience
- Excellent Emotional Self Awareness under pressure while maintaining a graceful warm presence
- Curious Intelligence to continue learning in the position
- Open availability and a career mentality
