Job Description
The Canadian Cancer Society is hosting its second annual North Shore Daffodil Dash. This family fun event is looking for active organized volunteers to join our team to make this event a success! A successful committee member is skilled in areas such as marketing sponsorship participant recruitment logistics and volunteer coordination. With the guidance and support of past committee members and staff partners at the Canadian Cancer Society the committee will plan and execute this engaging event.
We are looking for people with strong interpersonal and communication skills experience in planning and coordinating event logistics networking skills sales and fundraising skills as well as an ability to meet deadlines and multitask. Volunteers are critical to our accomplishments and we wouldnt be able to support inform and empower those touched by cancer without you.
Logistics Coordinator
This individual will coordinate the smooth of all event day logistical needs to ensure a positive high quality event experience for all participants the public and volunteers. The Logistics volunteer will work with the event committee to determine requirements for equipment materials supplies site layouts and most importantly the race course including any accompanying civic municipal or legal requirements. They will also develop an event logistics schedule documenting responsibilities and timing and will oversee logistics volunteers on event day.
