About Us:
Resonetics is a leader in micromanufacturing for life sciences providing cuttingedge solutions in precision laser processing advanced automation and hightech engineering. We are seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join our team and gain handson experience in a fastpaced innovative environment. This internship runs from approximately from May August of 2025.

Position Overview:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to support engineering initiatives by assisting with equipment maintenance troubleshooting and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. The role emphasizes handson work providing exposure to equipment assembly fabrication documentation updates and process control enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the engineering team in designing tooling for manufacturing processes.
  • Must be handson and able to design build trouble and improve manufacturing tooling.
  • Assist in planned and unplanned maintenance activities ensuring timely completion and proper documentation.
  • Support process control improvements by collecting and analyzing data.
  • Maintain detailed records and contribute to equipment performance reporting.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office and CAD solid modelling (preferably SolidWorks)
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and multimeter for troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply principles of:
    • Materials Science (Nitinol experience is a plus)
    • Mechanics
    • Electrical systems
    • Process control theory
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated compensation is $20.00 per hour.
