Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Management or a related field. Candidates having a degree in a related field must have 18 graduate credit hours in Management fields (i.e. management human resource management industrial relations operations management organizational behavior strategic management). A minimum of two years of verifiable business experience in the Management field other than selfemployment consultancy. Ability to deliver required predefined course elements while drawing from ones own knowledge and experiences to engage students and make the course their own. Willingness to revise and update courses. Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to teach classes in the day evening at the main campus and/or at Regional Centers.
Preferred Qualifications
At least five years of teaching experience preferably at the community college level or higher level. Knowledge and/or willingness to develop and teach distance education and web enhanced courses. Active participation in industry related professional development activities meetings and/or conferences. Prior experience using Canvas Learning Management System. Commitment to participating in the intellectual life of the department and a willingness to participate in the life of the College. Demonstrated experience teaching diverse student populations and addressing equity gaps. Demonstrated experience teaching within a community college. Bilingual or other language proficiency.
