Social Worker/Well Being Specialist The Licking Regional Educational Service Center is seeking multiple qualified individuals to provide school based intensive and individualized interventions to students who present with mental health emotional and/or behavioral concerns in the Newark City School District. Under supervisory direction ongoing therapeutic supports will be provided to at risk students in one to three school locations. While the greatest focus will be on individual services group family counseling as well as crisis intervention and assessment will also be expected. Collaboration with coworkers community partners legal guardians and other service providers will also be required. The ideal candidates will possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate with school personnel parents/legal guardians peers and other service providers. We will consider candidates who have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Social Work Counseling or a related field with one to three years of therapy experience working with youth population. Candidates will also possess or have the ability to secure prior to employment a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license. A Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required. Salary will be based on experience and licensure.
